Pete and Sophie Sandiford are Gogglebox’s much-loved sibling duo from Blackpool.
Although she’s never appeared on the show, Pete often mentions his wife of four years, but who is she?

Their witty comments and decorative mugs make them an iconic pair, and Pete’s one-liners leave his sister and the viewers cackling.

Who is Pete Sandiford’s wife?
For the past eight years, Paige Sandiford (formerly Yeomans) has worked as an emergency services call handler.
As a university student, she studied English language and linguistics at Queen Mary University of London.
In September, Paige posted pictures on Instagram of herself and Pete with their two children, Jimmy and Eva, taking an idyllic stroll along a sandy beach.
In her caption, she wrote: ‘Capturing memories with my lovely family💙 🌾 if only it was like this all the time,’ while Pete commented: ‘Life’s a beach and then you marry one so I heard @paigesandiford_ 😜.’
How long have Pete and Paige been together?
Paige and Pete married in May 2021. Six months later, Paige shared a post on Instagram celebrating their nuptials, writing: ‘When your best friend doubles up as the best husband ♥️.’
In 2020. Pete posted a photo of the two of them, calling her his ‘Mrs’, and stating that the photo was taken the previous year.
On Gogglebox, Pete spoke about their first date together, which he described as ‘awkward’.
He said: ‘We were in this bar in London and I bought this bloke a beer, which in London people never seem to buy anyone else a drink. So he was like my best friend didn’t leave us alone so he was with us for the whole date.’
Their son Jimmy was born in 2021, and their daughter Eva was born in 2023.
Pete introduced Eva to his Instagram followers with a tender post, writing in the caption two years ago: ‘Myself and @paigesandiford_ would like to welcome the newest addition to our family, Eva Sylvie Sandiford ❤️.’
Two years previously, he uploaded a photo of himself holding Jimmy while the baby cried.
‘Jimmy wishing his daddy a happy birthday 🥳,’ he wrote at the time.
Does Sophie Sandiford have a partner?
Sophie Sandiford, Pete’s sister, also has a partner.
In April this year, Sophie posted a picture of her patner Ben with the caption: ‘Best 3 years ever ❤️.’
The couple went Instagram official in 2022, and Sophie has talked about him on the show with her brother.
She claimed Pete was ‘jealous’ of boyfriend Ben’s height, and said that her brother ‘looks like one of the borrowers’ in comparison to her boyfriend.
Who are Pete and Sophie’s parents?
Sophie and Pete rarely mention their parents on Gogglebox, although their Mum, Julie, has featured on Sophie’s Instagram page.
We don’t know much about their Dad, but Julie’s bio on Instagram reads: ‘Married to Paul’.
The siblings have funny bones in the family.
Paul and Barry, of The Chuckle Brothers, are Pete and Sophie’s great-uncles.
In an interview with Metro, Paul (real name Paul Elliot) said of his great-niece and nephew: ‘I think they’re the funniest couple on [Gogglebox]. They’re just lovely kids.’
